We’re finishing our Week of Cheer with a recap of our team’s involvement with Olive Crest, an organization that transforms the lives of at-risk children through the healing power of family. More than 40 years since Olive Crest’s inception, they have become a leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse, serving nearly 3,000 children and families each day. This Holiday Season we decided to partner with Olive Crest, to help them provide a warm holiday meal for families in need.

What the Google My Business V2.0 API Means for Enterprises

This week, Google released Version 2.0 (V2.0) of the Google My Business API. V1 had a limited release to advertising partners earlier this fall; now with V2 the API has become more broadly available. Due to our leadership within the local marketing space, we are pleased to report that Brandify has earned API access, which means that our technology and team are better positioned to optimize listings data on Google for enterprise brands.

At Brandify, we believe education is the gift that keeps on giving so we were thrilled to be able to provide the our first Brandify Scholarship this holiday season. Our scholarship was made possible by our team’s generous donations at this year’s Holiday Party, providing us the ability to grant five hard-working STEM students $200 each in scholarships. Our goal with the Brandify Scholarship is to support and encourage these students to pursue a higher education within these subjects, so they can go on to help others in the future.

“Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis…A disease that ‘takes your breath away’”

Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) is a condition in which lung tissue becomes scarred, thickened, and stiff, making it difficult for a person to breathe. Once diagnosed, the median survival rate of someone with PF is under three years. To date there is no known cause, no FDA-approved treatment and no cure for PF. With an estimated 40,000 people dying each year from PF (the same number of annual deaths as breast cancer). MollyK.org was formed to raise awareness and increase funds for research of PF, and we were eager to help them boost visibility as much as possible.

And at the heart of it all is THINK Together’s dedicated volunteers, helping each student they interact with reach their full potential and discover their passions. Unfortunately, with the vast amount of locations scattered across California, creating a system to find qualified volunteers for each location is a daunting task.

‘Tis the season to get by giving, and we are celebrating with a week where we spotlight some amazing organizations and individuals who are working for the greater good. We’re kicking off Brandify’s “Week of Cheer,” with the pro-bono services we offered to the two women behind Caring Hearts. Caring Hearts was founded in 2004 by Tara Payne, who recognized the enormous need for non-medical home care services after working 16 years in the healthcare industry. While Tara has in-depth knowledge of how to operate an in-home care business, she and her business partner Shelly, struggled to gain a foothold on their brand’s online presence.
